It is early. My house is quiet. My man has left for work and our daughter is still asleep. I have let the last bit of coffee in my mug get cold as I surf Facebook and contemplate taking up blogging again. So here I am updating my "about" page.
I am Laura Leigh. I have been married to James for five amazing years. Our daughter is Katy Lynn (KL). Baby Dobson 2.0 is expected in late July, 2012. We live in coastal Mississippi with our 2 dogs in an 1100 square ft. cottage about 1/2 a mile from the beach. We like to take lots of walks, explore new places and go to church. Our life is pretty mundane to most but we love it.
In addition to being a wife and mom I am also musician. I play the
violin fiddle and I teach it to other folks sometimes as well. I love fiddling and dream of being a songwriter one day as well. We'll see.
I've started this blog because I have been inspired by so many other blogs in the past and have wanted for a long time now to carve out my own niche . . .I know I have something to say. I was inspired recently by a new friend to get back to blogging. If it's something I enjoy I don't think I should quit just because it seems that I have no special talent for writing or picture taking This blog is for me and my family mainly and for anyone else who might enjoy it along the way. This blog will be about my life and whatever it consists of at any given moment. It may be music, child rearing, marriage, fitness, pregnancy. . . so be warned! :)
